Week 6 - Powtoons

  • There is an options to pay a fee but great access for no cost too
  • Fairly easy to use
  • The option to share with the public
  • Records voice overs
  • Easy to embed 

Con -
  • no automatic save (learnt this the hard way!!)
  • found it did take some time to load (maybe this was due to my internet?)
  • your device must support flash player 
  • it can sometimes seem cluttered 
  • the cost of a business account in high!!





Powtoon was surprisingly easy and simple to use.  There are lots of cool features on this.  For instance, you get to choose when your text or images appear on the slide via the timeline feature.  You can bring your information in to the slide from all different directions. 

There are some really easy little tricks to use too, like the pen or the hand.  These are effective and are really simple to use.  It really is about making your slide your own. 
I love Powtoon.  I had so much fun creating one.  It can be quite time consuming though and giving a long presentation with Powtoon would take a really long time to prepare.

I love Powtoon.  I had a lot fun creating one.  Powtoon makes for a very light, and easy to take, presentation.  It allows you to get your message across to your audience in so many different ways.  Gone are the days of listening to someone drone on and on and on...
